- Emergency SOS contact details (if you add them)
- Live location sharing (only when SOS is activated)
- Strictly encrypted and only shared with your trusted contacts
How We Use Your Information

- Create and manage your account
- Show you travel destinations within your budget
- Generate personalised trip itineraries
- Remember your travel preferences for better recommendations
- Improve the app based on how it is used
- Send password reset emails if you request them
- Facilitate the SOS alert system in emergencies

Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers (hosted in the European Union)
All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
Local device data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
We use Firebase for authentication (Google's security infrastructure)
We retain your data only as long as you have an account
Location Data
- Location is accessed only when you are actively using the app
- We use it only to show nearby cities and distances
- Location data is processed on your device and in memory only
- No location history is stored on our servers

Delete your account and all associated data
Export your trip data
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. When you delete your account:
- All your trips, saved places, and preferences are permanently deleted
- Your account information is removed from our servers
- This process completes immediately
- It cannot be undone
Children's Privacy
Pocket Globe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at support@pocketglobe.in.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app grows. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Showing a notice in the app
- Sending an email to your registered address
